Wellness

Wellness is at the heart of New Urbanism, and it plays a vital role in life at Carlton Landing. The Foundation coordinates opportunities throughout the year that nurture the whole person—mind, body, and community.

Our programming brings in guest instructors and artists to share their expertise, offering classes and workshops that support a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Through Partner-Led Programming, we’re able to welcome a wide variety of instructors and approaches, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy and explore.

From movement and fitness to mindfulness and creative expression, wellness at Carlton Landing is about more than individual practice—it’s about building a healthier, more connected community.

Mind

Wellness of the mind is nurtured through opportunities for creativity, learning, and self-expression. Classes and workshops encourage curiosity, spark imagination, and invite individuals to grow in ways that enrich both personal fulfillment and community life.

Body

Wellness of the Body comes from movement, balance, and care for physical health. From fitness classes and outdoor activities to nutrition and lifestyle workshops, our programming supports healthy living and an active, energized way of life.

Community

Community wellness is the heart of Carlton Landing. By gathering for shared experiences—whether through events, celebrations, or partner-led workshops—we strengthen connections, cultivate belonging, and create a healthier, more resilient community together.

Become an Instructor

The Carlton Landing Foundation makes it simple for instructors to share their passion and expertise with our community. Instructors enjoy the benefit of Foundation-managed venue reservations, with no cost for the space. Your workshop will be added to the Foundation Calendar and promoted through our social media channels.

Classes are open to the public. Instructors may collect RSVPs in advance but must also be prepared to accommodate walk-up participants. As the instructor, you’ll collect your own payments and are responsible for being on-site to lead your class.

If you’re interested in leading a Partner-led Workshop, we’d love to hear from you!
