Application

The Carlton Landing Social Welfare Foundation has established an independent review committee of homeowners in Carlton Landing to consider each application. The deadline for submitting your application is February 28th, 2026 with notification of acceptance or denial occurring in the month of April. This scholarship is open to individuals who will have post-high school educational expenses in the 2026-2027 school year. GPA requirements will apply to most recent transcript. If the applicant is already attending a college, university or accredited trade school, most recent transcript from that institution should be provided.

To apply for the Carlton Landing Social Welfare Foundation Scholarship, applicants must:

• Have at least 3.0 GPA
• Students who have worked a collective of at least 150 hours in the town of Carlton Landing within the last year.
  • This includes students with private enterprises such as lawn care or babysitting.

In addition to these qualifications, we ask that you submit a brief essay (max 2000 words) where you describe a time where you helped contribute to your community in some way. This community can be where your home is located, Carlton Landing, or any other place that you consider to be part of your community.

In addition to your essay, please be sure to also include:

• Highschool transcript
• ACT & SAT test scores
• A photo of you out in your community
• Signed “Hours Worked” document from your supervisor from within Carlton Landing.

Applications must be submitted digitally. Please be aware that we will not be able to process applications that have been submitted in hard copy. Notifications of awards will be made in April 2026, and students will be notified by email if they have been awarded or not. Payment of awards will be made directly to the college/university of the student’s choosing once the required documents have been received.
