Saturday Morning Craft | Garden Series

Join us for Saturday Morning Story Time and Craft in the Carlton Landing Community Garden!

Start your weekend with a delightful morning of stories, crafts, and garden fun. We’ll begin with an engaging story time, followed by a creative craft activity that celebrates nature and gardening. Afterwards, families are welcome to explore, enjoy and participate in the beauty of the Community Garden. Children 5 and younger must have adult supervision to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Admission is $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional child, which includes all craft materials. This event is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn, play, and connect with nature in a beautiful garden setting.

Book: From Seed to Plant

About the Book: With simple language and bright illustrations, non-fiction master Gail Gibbons introduces young readers to the processes of pollination, seed formation, and germination.  Important vocabulary is reinforced with accessible explanation and colorful, clear diagrams showing the parts of plants, the wide variety of seeds, and how they grow. 
 
The book includes instructions for a seed-growing project, and a page of interesting facts about plants, seeds, and flowers.   A nonfiction classic, and a perfect companion for early science lessons and curious young gardeners.

Garden Series Craft: We will be creating spring themed pots, filling them with dirt and planting our very own seeds!

While the children enjoy story time and crafts, adults are invited to join in the gardening activities. It’s a wonderful opportunity get involved in the Carlton Landing community and connect with fellow garden enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
